Dr Nandi Dabula is a passionate, results-driven marketing specialist, with proven success in innovative and traditional campaigns across the broad continuum of strategic marketing, including digital marketing communications. She has occupied several Senior Marketing and Executive positions in the private sector within the short-term insurance, banking, and healthcare industries. She is currently the Executive Manager of Corporate Relations at Productivity SA, a Public Entity of the Department of Employment and Labour.
In her doctoral thesis titled “Market, psychological and social factors influencing blood donation: a case of S.A. millennials”, three theories were integrated to examine how social media communication impacted millennials' socio-psychological drivers of blood donation attitude and intention. The study found that even for a life-saving product like blood, social media marketing can aid social marketers' efforts to build attitudes and propensity to act.
Dr Dabula was also a part-time Honours in Brand Management and Post Graduate Diploma in Brandinglecturer at Vega School of Branding and Design. She previously served as a board member of ClinixPhalaborwa Private Hospital and the Public Health Enhancement Fund (PHEF), a financing body established by the Minister of Health and participating private sector companies for collection and disbursement of funds that would be for the benefit of transformative healthcare projects.
